Why St. Martin of Tours?
At St. Martin of Tours your child will receive an outstanding education to prepare them for high school and beyond in a safe environment where they will grow emotionally, morally and physically. We are very proud of the cultural diversity our children encounter each day in one another!
Does my child need to be Catholic and a member of your parish to attend your school?
No, students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at St. Martin of Tours! As a Catholic school, each student will be expected to participate in daily prayer and religious education. Mass will be celebrated with students and teachers on the First Friday of each month and on special Sundays throughout the school year. As always, families are welcome to celebrate with us!
Do you offer financial aid?
St. Martin of Tours is a tuition-assisted school. Families who apply and qualify, may receive aid. For more information, visit our financial aid page.
Do you offer bus service?
Yes, bus service is offered. Please call the school office at 215-744-0444 to speak with Mrs. Kedra and register for bus service.
What time do classes begin?
Our school day begins at 8:00 AM, with regular dismissal at 2:55 PM. All children come directly into the school building each day. Our Pre-K children begin at 8:00 AM and each teacher dismisses her class at 2:45 PM.
Do you offer a lunch program?
Our students have the option of bringing a lunch to school each day or participating in the free hot lunch program each school year. Children may also participate in the free breakfast program, served from 7:40 to 7:55 am each school day. Please visit the page on the lunch program for more information.
Do you offer special assistance for learning disabilities?
Yes, Catapult for Remedial Reading, Speech and Language Therapy, and ESL programs are available for students who qualify. We also have student support teachers to assist children who may have a diagnosis or who struggle with academics.
Does your school offer family services?
Yes, we offer a family services center staffed by a licensed clinical social worker. This center provides educational and family support. Please visit the family services page under the For Parents section.
Does St. Martin of Tours offer before and after school programs?
Yes, St. Martin of Tours has a CARES program. Before-school care is available from 7:00 am and after-school care is available until 6:00 pm.
How old does my child need to be for Kindergarten?
Students must be five years old before September 1.
How old does my child need to be for Pre-School?
Students need to be potty-trained and three years old before September 1 to enter the Pre-K 3 program.
Students need to be potty-trained and four years old before September 1 to enter the Pre-K 4 program.
