For the last twenty-two years, Patricia Mychack has served as an educator and advocate for youth, whether as a teacher, basketball coach, literacy coach, or school administrator. Patricia was born and raised in Philadelphia. She attended Nativity B.V.M grade school and graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. After graduating from Slippery Rock University she began her teaching career at Mother of Divine Grace School in Port Richmond. She then transitioned to Northwood Academy Charter School where she served as a teacher, K-2 Instructional Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and then Principal. Ms. Mychack earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Gwynedd Mercy University. Most recently, Ms. Mychack worked as a teacher coach with Children’s Literacy Initiative where she served in the School District of Philadelphia supporting teachers with instruction, data analysis, and teacher evaluation. Ms. Mychack is very excited to start her new journey as Assistant Principal at St. Martin of Tours. She is eager to get to know and work with the entire St. Martin of Tours family.
