Parents and friends of our 28 piano students were treated to an evening of “listening pleasure!” The stage spotlight was upon each second to eighth grader as he or she braved the “stomach butterflies,” mounted the stage and played for the audience one of their favorite pieces learned during the year. It was delightful – and most satisfying for all – to appreciate the progress made…from our first year to our last year pianists!
The following morning, all of our Music students received Awards for their efforts and hours of practice put into the year’s lessons, as well as the Christmas and Spring Concerts. Special Recognition Pins were given to those students who maintained First or Second Honors throughout the year. An Achievement Award was given to Johana Fevrier for her combined 7 years in Junior Chorus and Choir. Achievement Awards for consistent effort at practice, lessons and rehearsals were given to Phoenix Diaz and Liliana Sanchez.
