Jennifer Conner began her career in the nonprofit sector where she developed a foundation in organizational management. Seven years ago she transitioned into teaching as a Philadelphia Teaching Fellow. During those seven years, Jennifer was the founding member of two schools – one, an accelerated program for over-aged middle school students and the other, an innovative school with project-based programming.
Matthew Grill earned his Instructional II teaching certificate in Elementary and Special Education. He served in various roles including department chair and technology leader. During his tenure as a teacher, he implemented a 1:1 computer initiative that resulted in vast improvement in Reading test scores as well as won the Voices of Inspiration Award for Teaching. Most recently, Matthew earned his Masters Degree in Educational Administration with a Supervisory Certificate in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment as well as his Principal Certification and served with the School District of Philadelphia as an assistant principal.
